Bio
Chris Lara brings a solid foundation in collegiate baseball and a deep passion for player development to the Frontier Community College Bobcats coaching staff. With seven years of coaching experience and five years as a collegiate player, Lara is dedicated to helping student-athletes grow both on and off the field. 
 
He earned his bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science from Lyon College in Batesville, Arkansas, where he also served as a student assistant coach. In that role, he managed team logistics, implemented training drills, and supported the overall growth of the program. 
Lara went on to serve as a graduate assistant at Missouri Valley College in Marshall, Missouri, contributing to both the varsity and junior varsity baseball programs. His responsibilities included coaching infielders, overseeing JV practices and games, assisting with recruiting efforts, and maintaining field readiness. 
 
He recently completed his master’s degree in Academic Administration from Missouri Valley College. Lara’s coaching philosophy emphasizes discipline, personal growth, and character development—making him a strong mentor and an asset to the Frontier Community College Bobcats baseball program.
