Bio
Cade Appleman joins the Frontier Community College Bobcats Baseball program as a volunteer assistant coach, bringing with him a strong foundation in player development, leadership, and outfield and hitting instruction. He will work closely with Bobcat outfielders and hitters while also serving as the team’s first base coach.
A former collegiate outfielder and utility player at the University of Arkansas – Fort Smith, Appleman transitioned into coaching following a hand injury that led him to embrace a mentorship role. He went on to coach at the University of Arkansas – Rich Mountain, where he helped lead the outfield unit to a team fielding percentage of .983 and contributed to an offensive team average of .281.
In addition to his college coaching background, Appleman has held assistant and head coaching roles with Midwest Marucci Baseball, where he provided instruction, game management, and recruiting insight at the national tournament level. He is passionate about developing athletes physically, mentally, and fundamentally—on the field, in the weight room, and through sound nutrition and mentorship.
With a strong focus on team culture, player growth, and recruiting, Appleman is excited to help shape the next generation of Bobcats both on and off the diamond.
