Bio

Patrick Collins joins the Frontier Community College Bobcats Baseball coaching staff with a strong background in strength and conditioning, pitching development, and athlete performance. In his role as assistant coach, Collins will oversee the Bobcats’ strength and conditioning program while also assisting with pitcher development and mechanics.

A graduate of Milligan University with a Master’s in Coaching and Sport Management and a Bachelor’s in Psychology, Collins has experience across multiple levels of baseball performance and athletic training. While interning with Milligan's Strength and Conditioning program, he conducted research on fatigue, recovery, and performance in baseball pitchers, complementing his work in the weight room.

Prior to joining FCC, Collins served as a strength and conditioning coach, pitching coach, and physical therapy assistant at Peak Performance in Council Bluffs, Iowa, where he worked with youth and high school athletes. He has also coached with ETC Knights in Nebraska, focusing on pitch design, mental skills, and in-game strategy. Additionally, Collins has instructed youth players in all aspects of the game at RBI Tri-Cities in Tennessee, while managing day-to-day operations of the facility.

With a passion for athletic development and a data-informed approach to training and recovery, Collins brings a comprehensive skill set to the Bobcats program. His dedication to building physically and mentally strong athletes aligns with Frontier’s commitment to student-athlete success on and off the field.
