Bobcats Baseball Game at Millikin Canceled; Home Openers Still Set for Wednesday

FAIRFIELD, Ill. — Frontier Community College Athletic Director Jeremy Ellis has announced that Thursday's scheduled baseball game at Millikin University has been canceled.
Despite the change, Bobcat fans can still look forward to an exciting day of home-opening action on Wednesday.
Frontier Community College Baseball will host McKendree University in a doubleheader at FNB Field. First pitch is scheduled for 1 p.m.
Bobcats Softball will also open its home season Wednesday with a doubleheader against St. Charles Community College at Southwest Park. Game time is set for 1 p.m.
Fans unable to attend can still follow the action. The softball doubleheader will stream live on the Bobcat Nation YouTube Channel, while live updates for baseball will be available on GameChanger.
The forecast for Wednesday calls for sunny skies with highs in the low to mid-50s — ideal conditions for Bobcat baseball and softball.
