End of March, Start of April: Bobcats Ready for a Busy Week
A busy stretch of Bobcat Athletics is on tap as Frontier Community College closes out the month of March and welcomes the start of April with a full slate of competition across multiple sports.
FAIRFIELD, Ill. — A busy stretch of Bobcat Athletics is on tap as Frontier Community College closes out the month of March and welcomes the start of April with a full slate of competition across multiple sports.
The week begins Monday evening with Bobcats Volleyball hosting a scrimmage at Center Street School. Action gets underway at 5 p.m. as Frontier faces Southwestern Illinois College (SWIC), followed by SWIC taking on Wabash Valley College at 6 p.m. The evening concludes with Frontier squaring off against Wabash Valley at 7 p.m.
On Tuesday, March 31, Bobcats Baseball returns home to FNB Field to host Parkland College, with first pitch scheduled for 2 p.m. Meanwhile, Bobcats Softball will be on the road, traveling to Robinson for a doubleheader against Lincoln Trail College beginning at 2 p.m.
The schedule continues Thursday, April 2, as Bobcats Baseball heads to Belleville for a matchup with SWIC, with first pitch set for 3 p.m. Bobcats Softball will host Lake Land College that same day at Southwest Park for a doubleheader starting at 2 p.m.
The week wraps up on Friday, April 3, with a pair of home doubleheaders. Bobcats Baseball will host SWIC at FNB Field beginning at noon, while Bobcats Softball will welcome Kaskaskia College to Southwest Park, also with a noon first pitch.
