French, Holeman Named Bobcats of the Week

Frontier Community College has announced freshman Josh French and Harper Holeman as this week's Bobcats of the Week following standout performances that helped lead their respective teams to key victories.

French turned in an impressive stretch at the plate for the Bobcats baseball team, playing a key role in multiple wins against Lincoln Trail College and Olney Central College. In Frontier's 8-6 victory over Lincoln Trail, French drove in a run and utilized his speed on the basepaths to create offensive opportunities.

He followed with a strong performance in the Bobcats' 22-7 win over Olney Central, recording three hits and two RBIs as part of Frontier's 16-hit offensive outburst. French played a critical role during an 11-run third inning that helped the Bobcats seize control of the game.

French continued his consistent play in a 15-1 win over Olney Central in the opening game of a doubleheader, adding a sacrifice fly and remaining a steady presence in the lineup. Over the course of the week, he showcased timely hitting, consistency, and the ability to produce in key moments.

On the softball side, Holeman delivered a standout week highlighted by a clutch performance in Frontier's 4-3 extra-inning victory over Shawnee Community College at Southwest Park.

Holeman went 3-for-4 in the contest, blasting a home run, adding a double, and delivering the game-winning RBI in the eighth inning to secure a walk-off win for the Bobcats. Her performance proved to be the difference-maker as Frontier closed out the weekend with a split against Shawnee.

In addition to her heroics, Holeman contributed offensively throughout the week, recording hits in multiple games and providing consistency in the lineup. Her ability to perform in high-pressure situations and deliver in clutch moments continues to make her a key contributor for the Bobcats.

French and Holeman's performances highlight the continued success and momentum of Frontier Community College athletics as both teams push forward in conference play.
