Busy Week Ahead for Bobcats Baseball and Softball
It’s shaping up to be a busy and exciting week for Frontier Community College Bobcat Athletics, as both the baseball and softball teams prepare for a full slate of games from Monday, April 20 through Sunday, April 26.
FAIRFIELD, Ill. — It's shaping up to be a busy and exciting week for Frontier Community College Bobcat Athletics, as both the baseball and softball teams prepare for a full slate of games from Monday, April 20 through Sunday, April 26.
The week gets underway on Monday, April 20, as the Bobcats baseball team travels to face Greenville University. First pitch is scheduled for 4 p.m.
Action continues on Tuesday, April 21, with a full day of home competition. Bobcats baseball will host Lincoln Trail College at FNB Field, with the game beginning at 3 p.m. Meanwhile, Bobcats softball will welcome Rend Lake College to Southwest Park for a doubleheader starting at 2 p.m.
On Thursday, April 23, both teams hit the road for conference matchups. Bobcats baseball will travel to Centralia to take on Kaskaskia College at 3 p.m. At the same time, Bobcats softball will compete in Olney against Olney Central College in a doubleheader beginning at 2 p.m.
Saturday, April 25, brings another full day of home action. Bobcats baseball returns to FNB Field to host Kaskaskia College at 12 noon. Bobcats softball will also be at home, hosting Lincoln Trail College at Southwest Park for a doubleheader starting at 12 noon.
The week concludes on Sunday, April 26, as Bobcats softball travels to Canton, Illinois, to take on Spoon River College in a doubleheader beginning at 12 noon.
