Bobcats Rally Past Lincoln Trail in Four Sets
The Frontier Community College Bobcats Volleyball team hosted the Lincoln Trail Statesmen on Thursday evening, September 4, earning a hard-fought four-set victory.
The Frontier Community College Bobcats Volleyball team hosted the Lincoln Trail Statesmen on Thursday evening, September 4, earning a hard-fought four-set victory. After dropping the opening set, the Bobcats bounced back to win three straight, defeating Lincoln Trail by scores of 20-25, 25-19, 25-23, 25-14.
With the win, Frontier improves to 5-3 overall and 3-1 in Region 24 play. Lincoln Trail falls to 5-3 overall and 1-3 in Region 24 action.
The Bobcats now hit the road for the East Central College Falcon Classic in Union, Missouri. They open play today against the host East Central College at 3 p.m., followed by John Wood Community College at 5 p.m. Both FCC and John Wood Community College recently met at the Jimmy Johns Classic in Iowa, where Frontier came out on top in four sets on August 29.
Tournament play continues Saturday as the Bobcats take on Metropolitan Community College at 11 a.m., followed by Lewis & Clark Community College at 1 p.m.
