The Bobcats opened the afternoon with a dominant performance over St. Louis Community College, winning in straight sets: 25-8, 25-15, 25-15. It was the first-ever meeting between the two programs, though both had faced several common opponents earlier in the season.
Cassidy King and Elliana Ames each tallied six kills to lead the offense, while Ylayna Olivera added five. Setter Sarah McCorkle distributed a game-high 18 assists, followed by Arlissa Sharber with 12. Defensively, Olivera anchored the net with four blocks, while Ames and Jenna Abusharbain each chipped in three. In the back row, Riley Roark and Tinlea Webb led the team with nine digs apiece.

In the evening matchup, the Bobcats faced a familiar opponent in Vincennes University, a rematch from August 23, when the Trailblazers won in four sets. This time, Frontier flipped the script, earning a historic victory. The Bobcats defeated VU in four sets: 25-19, 20-25, 27-25, 25-22, marking the first time Frontier won over Vincennes University in Bobcats Volleyball history.
Cassidy King powered the offense with nine kills, followed by Elliana Ames with eight. Lily Spark, Jenna Abusharbain, and Evan Polsgrove each added seven kills. Sarah McCorkle tallied 14 assists, with Arlissa Sharber close behind at 13. Riley Roark recorded a team-high 17 digs, while Spark added 14. At the net, Ylayna Olivera dominated with nine blocks, and Abusharbain added seven.
For Vincennes University, Taryn Thuis led all players with 14 kills, while Martyna Sadowska added 13. Former Fairfield standout Rylee Edwards distributed 29 assists, and Adaline Eisenmann collected 29 digs for the Trailblazers. Thuis and Nicole De La Cruz each registered three blocks.
With the pair of victories, the Bobcats improved to 16-12 overall and 8-6 in conference play, extending their winning streak to three matches. Frontier will look to keep the momentum going on Wednesday, October 15, when they travel to Shawnee Community College in Ullin, Illinois. The Bobcats previously defeated the Saints in straight sets on October 3 (25-14, 25-23, 25-12). First serve is set for 6:30 p.m.
