Spark Shines: Lily Spark Named All-Conference

Frontier Community College Bobcats Volleyball player, Lily Spark, has been selected to the 2025 Great Rivers Athletic Conference Volleyball All-Conference. A 5-9 freshman outside hitter from Christchurch, New Zealand, Spark received 47 votes.
Spark had a splendid freshman season. According to stats from NJCAA's website, Spark finished 39th in NJCAA Division I in kills with 342, and tied for 65th in kills per set with 2.63. She played 37 matches, played 130 sets, registered 342 kills, had 786 total attacks, averaged 6.05 total attacks per set, sported a .295 hitting percentage. Spark helped lead the Bobcats to a 19-19 overall campaign, and 9-10 in Region 24 play.
Karlie Mann of John A. Logan College was tabbed MVP, receiving 111 points. Ava Luebbers of JALC was named Freshman of the Year, garnering 77 votes.
